Hace unos meses surgió una campaña gráfica en favor de las personas migrantes, víctimas de la llamada "Crisis de los Refugiados", esta campaña de carácter abierto se llama "Refugio ilustrado" la podéis encontrar en Facebook y tumblr, y crítica además, la inoperancia y la inhumanidad de los países europeos frente a la situación de emergencia que se está dando desde hace ya 5 años.
En "Refugio ilustrado", ilustradores de todo el mundo colaboran aportando una ilustración que aborda el tema y sirve como voz para todas aquellas personas que están siendo ignoradas: familias enteras que lo han perdido todo; su vida, su casa, sus familiares y amigos, su país y que arriesgan su vida y la de sus hijos para solicitar asilo en los diferentes países colindantes y de la UE.
Mi aportación para dicha campaña es esta ilustración "Vacaciones en el mar". No estoy muy satisfecha con el resultado en relación a la calidad del acabado (los colores empleados, por ejemplo), ya que tan sólo pude dedicarle un día escaso por exceso de trabajo en aquel momento, sin embargo, si estoy contenta con el efecto incómodo, desagradable y potente de la imagen. ¿Vosotros que pensáis?
A few months ago emerged a graphic campaign supporting for migrant people, victims of the called "Refugee Crisis", this campaign of open character is called "Refugio ilustrado" and you can find it on Facebook and tumblr. "Refugio ilustrado" criticizes also the ineffectiveness and inhumanity of the European countries face the emergency situation that is taking place for the past 5 years.
Illustrators around the world collaborate in "Refugio ilustrado" by providing an illustration that tackles the issue and serves as a voice for all those who are being ignored: entire families who have lost everything; their life, their home, their family and friends, their country and risk their lives and that of their children to seek asylum in different neighboring and EU countries.

My contribution to this campaign is this illustration "Vacations at sea". I'm not very satisfied with the quality of the finish (the colors used, for example), since only I could dedicate a day by overwork at that time, however, I am satisfied with the uncomfortable effect, the unpleasant image and the powerful impact.
